Wheat and Wolves

Spice and Wolf, story by Isuna Hasekura, art by Keito Koume, and character design by Jyuu Ayakura, is the story of Kraft Lawrence, a travelling merchant. One day during his travels he comes across a harvest festival where he learns the story of Holo, the wolf harvest god who resides in the wheat. That night after leaving the town he finds a mysteries girl in his kart. The thing that is most odd about this girl is she has wolf ears, a tail, and claims to be Holo! She says she was freed because she could move to the wheat in his kart. This odd girl asks to travel with Kraft before returning to the home she was taken from long ago. She and Kraft travel and sell merchandise, but keeping small bits of the wheat so Holo can stay. When a novice merchant makes a mysterieous proposition, Kraft and Holo search for the truth and try to discover who was really behind all this. This is a definate read for those people who loved the middle ages and currency. Intended for an older audiance.
