Love birds
Hey all! I'm reviewing a story that won the 54th Shogakukan manga award. Black Bird, story and art by Kanoko Sakurakoji, is a story about Misao Harada, a school girl who can somehow see the demons that are everywhere! Misao constantly has to deal with these annoying, and violent, little things, and they constantly scare her, embarras her, and trip her. Misao has only ever known one other person who can see these demons, but he dissapeared many years ago. When this boy returns and Misao thinks her first love has come back to her, she gets a little surprise. This story includes fights, demons, romance, and suspense! If you're the kind of person who loves theese kinds of genres, this somewhat creepy, romantic, funny book is for you! Recommended for older teens.

Comedy, romance, and demons
Hey all! This time I'm reviewing my personal favorite manga, written by YoungBin Kim and art by Hyun You, Laon! Laon is a story about a fox demon who lost his tails and ears in a bet. He finds himself on Earth, starving, cold, and confused. Laon soon discovers he's missing his ears and tails and goes on a search for another fox demon. In his search he comes across a strange man who will come to help Laon find his tails if he agrees to do the man a favor when he gets his tails back. Their search and the man's, Tae-ha Kwon's, job takes them to a girl who is attacked by an unknown creature. This story is funny, has plenty of action, and has art like i've never seen! I highly recomend this book for older teens looking for something fantastic!
Next up is a review of the next book in a series I mentioned a while ago. Heart No Kuni No Alice (Alice in the Country of Hearts) book 2. If you read the first book and are looking for a good review on the second, look no further! Alice is visiting the Hatter's mansion for tea with a few of her new friends. It doesn't take long before Blood and Alice start fighting though and tea time is stopped short. Eliot and Alice head back to the clock tower and run into trouble, but, you'd have to read to find out what happens next! This next book is definately worth reading!

From Marvel to manga
Many people know Stan Lee for his contribution to Marvel comic books. Well, he decided to create a manga, Karakoridoji, Ultimo, origional concept by Stan Lee, story and art by Hiroyuki Takei, inked by Daigo, and painted by... Bob. This book starts out with a band of rebels attacking an elderly man in an era long ago. This man claims to be an inventor and is traveling with two human shaped dolls. Theese dolls are not only life like, but they're alive! One, Ultimo, was created to represent ultimate good, while Vice was created to represent evil. The two were created to fight eachother to the death to see wich is truly stronger, good, or evil. Ultimo is a story that is a definate twist to any of Stan Lee's other work, definately worth reading!

A manga based off a book
Hey all! This story is Maxmimum Ride, based off the New York Times best selling series by James Patterson. Narae Lee, a Korean artist, turns this novel into an anime of epic proportions! With this manga you get sci-fi and fantasy. This is a story about a flock of childeren, taken as babies and infused with avian DNA, this means, they have wings! Constantly in danger of being captured for testing, or completely annialated, these bird kids, Max, Fang, Iggy, Angel, Nudge, and Gazzy, must fight for their very lives! At first all seems calm, but when Angel gets kidnapped by an eraser, a wolf-man, Max and the rest of the flock set out on an incredible journey to get their family member back. An epic manga for sure!

Another awesome manga!
Hey all! I have a review for ya! This one's about a fairly new manga series March Story, written by Hyung Min Kim and art by Kyung Il Yang. This is a story about a person named March and a plethera of possesed artifacts. Theese artifacts when touched by a human posses the human body and the human becomes an Ill. If an Ill kills another human then the person possesed is lost and March must destroy them. Although if the Ill's horns are still white (meaning they never killed anyone) then the human being possesed can be saved. This story tells of March's journey to stop the Ill. This horror/fantasy book is definately a must read and is well worth the time!

Anime Extra!
Hey all! I thought the blog still looked a little bare, and I'm a 'lil bored so, i'm gonna post another review or two early! First up is a fairly well known story, Inuyasha, written by Rumiko Takahashi. Inuyasha is a story about a fifteen year old girl named Kagome and her ability to travel to the futile era. There she finds a boy, dead and stuck to a tree, but this is no ordinary boy, he has dog ears! Kagome is then captured and taken to a village where she meets an elderly woman. Soon the village is under attack and Kagome is chased by a monstrous demon! She's then rescued by the mysterious boy with dog ears who some how came back to life! Kagome's life is forever changed and the stories she goes through are absolutely incredible!
Next up is a great story if you like comedy and vampires (no, not the kind that sparkle). This story, written by Yuna Kagesaki, is Chibi Vampire and is about a young vampire named Karin Maaka who doesn't suck blood, but does the opposite! Yup, she injects blood into her victims, if she doesn't, she gets a massive nose bleed! I mean the kind of nose bleed that would kill an ordinary person. One day on her way to school (Karin doesn't get burned by the sun like the rest of her family, her mom, dad, brother, and sister, so she's free to go to school) she runs into a scary faced boy and something about him makes her blood increase. Follow Karin's journey to find out why her blood reacts to this boy, and have plenty of laughs along the way. A definite read for those looking to laugh!

New Review
Hey all! I've got some new reviews for ya! First up is an awesome show/manga called Soul Eater. Soul Eater is a hilarious show with plenty of action! This series features stories about three different teams, first is Maka and her partner Soul. Maka is the very serious type and gets mad at Soul, the "cool guy", alot, but the fight usually ends quickly. Next is Death the Kid (Kid for short) and his partners Patty, and Liz. Kid is an epic person for sure, except, he's obsessive compulsive! Every thing has to be symmetrical. Patty and Liz must make sure things don't get out of hand. Finally is Black Star and Tsubaki. Black Star is the trained assasin, but he's completely obnoxious, while Tsubaki is always ready to help others out but she's a little shy at times. The story, written by Atsushi Ohkubo, is about a scool of meisters, and wepons. Together they must find tainted human souls and devour them. Follow these teams on their journeys to create Shinigami-Sama's new wepon. A definate must read!
Next up is the all time favorite, a murder mystery! Higurashi, When They Cry, written by Ryukishi07 and art by Karin Suzuragi, is a story about Keiichi Maebara's new town Hinamizawa. At first this little village seems almost perfect, but when Keiichi learns about a murder that happened here long ago, and nobodie's willing to tell him what happens, he investigates. What he finds may very well seal his fate! Read this story to find out who's killing people in Hinamizawa! This story has so many twists and turns you'll be on the edge of your seat the entire time, highly recommended for mystery fans!
